November 3 General Election

Thank you to all who participated in yesterday's election - your vote shapes our community!


All City of Monroe voting locations will be open for in-person voting for the General Election, Tuesday, November 3rd.  While masks are not required to vote in-person, we do encourage them for everyone's health and safety.  Find your voting precinct by list or by map! 


The Clerk’s Office reminds residents that absentee ballots may be returned in-person or via the City Hall Drop Box located in the parking lot adjacent to the building by 8PM Election Day.

City Hall will be open from 7 AM to 8 PM on Tuesday, November 3rd for election business ONLY.

IMPORTANT DATES AND TIMES:  

  • November 2: 10:00 am - Change your mind about your vote?  Deadline for a voter to spoil an absentee ballot.
  • November 2: Up to 4:00 pm  - Last day to obtain an AV ballot in the Clerk’s office
  • November 3: Up to 8:00 pm  - Election Day! Registrants may register, obtain and vote an AV ballot at the Clerk’s office or vote in person at precinct.

The City of Monroe will have three proposals on the November 3, 2020 General Election ballot - two administrative revisions to the City Charter and one millage funding request.
