Information for Licensed Establishments
More information regarding the implementation of the Downtown Social District is coming soon, but in the meantime, the City has opened the local government application. For questions and additional information, please contact the Economic & Community Development department at (734) 384-9172.
In order for a business with a liquor license to participate in sales of alcoholic beverages to be sold to enjoy by patrons throughout the district, the qualified licensed establishment must apply for a social district license issued by the Michigan Liquor Control Commission (MLCC).
In order to apply to the MLCC, the applicant must have already obtained approval by the Monroe City Council. Click below to access the licensed establishment application online form:
