Memorial Guidelines

Memorial policies and rules serve to balance the individual expressions of grief and remembrance with the collective responsibility of maintaining a dignified, respectful, and well-kept cemetery space.

Please refer to the guidelines below for memorial items at Woodland Cemetery

Decoration Policy:

• Only one (1) decoration or floral arrangement is allowed per grace and must be placed at the marker.

The following items are not permitted:

• Grave blankets, shrubs, bushes, trees, mounds, borders, fences, bark, rocks, glass, any other surface other than the earth or sod. *

*Items that do no comply with the above guidelines may be removed. This is done to maintain the overall appearance of the cemetery and to facilitate groundskeeping.
