City of Monroe voting locations will be open for in-person voting for the Municipal Election, Tuesday, November 2nd. The ballot consists of general city elected positions, including Mayor, City Council, Clerk-Treasurer.
Residents vote for one representative from each precinct across the city, regardless of your precinct of residence. The City of Monroe is divided into 7 precincts and all seats are up for re-election with each voting cycle. Elected officials are limited to a two year term.
While masks are not required to vote in-person, we do encourage them for everyone's health and safety. Find your voting precinct by list or by map!
The Clerk’s Office reminds residents that absentee ballots may be returned in-person or via the City Hall Drop Box located in the parking lot adjacent to the building by 8PM Election Day.

- November 1: 8:30 am to 4:00 pm - Last day to obtain an AV ballot and vote in the Clerk’s office
- November 2: Up to 8:00 pm - Election Day registrants may register, obtain and vote an AV ballot at the Clerk’s office or vote in person at precinct.
